Cheap/Discounted Used Books - Thriftbooks
Free Books on your Smartphone or Tablet - Libby (No link, just look it up on the App store!) All you need is a library card (or many!) from any public library, and this app gives you free access to all of them. It's pretty incredible.

NYC Well is a free resource available to anyone anywhere (not just NYC!).
