Artist Bio's
Grace Canahuati (She/Her)
Growing up in Honduras, Grace’s passion for the arts was evident when she performed private plays for her family. Grace is a bilingual American Latina of Middle Eastern descent. She is an actress, comedian, artist, and advocate. She holds a B.A. from NYU in Political Science and studied sketch writing at UCB. She wrote, produced, and performed her one woman show Consuelo Explains it All at the People's Improv Theater; wrote Is Me Grace, a TV pilot based on her experiences as a multi-ethnic person of color living in New York City; and was a finalist in the NBCUniversal/People's Improv Theater Diversity Showcase. She worked at the United Nations Development Programme where she championed for the Millennium Development Goals with a focus on eradicating poverty and hunger. Grace is also a volunteer art teacher supporting Artists Striving to End Poverty, a non-profit that connects performing and visual artists with youth from underserved communities. She shares her experiences teaching migrant children in an article as a guest writer for UNICEF and R.evolucion Latina. |
Cailen Fu (She/Her)
Cailen Fu is a New York based actor, singer and voice-over artist. She made her Broadway debut in MEAN GIRLS and is the current standby for Regina George and Gretchen Wieners! She graduated from UC Irvine, where she received a BFA in Musical Theatre and Honors in Acting. She trained classically at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and in London with RADA and Shakespeare's Globe.
